Crunchy Baked Chicken Breasts

Boneless, skinless chicken breasts are dipped in chicken broth and mixture of finely crushed corn flakes, fresh ground black pepper, ground red pepper, and garlic powder. Chicken is arranged on baking sheet and roasted in hot oven until chicken has cooked through and crust is golden brown.

Ingredients -
1 cup Finely Crushed Corn Flakes
1/4 teaspoon Fresh Ground Black Pepper
1/4 teaspoon Ground Red Pepper
1/2 teaspoon Garlic Powder
4 Boneless, Skinless Chicken Breast Halves
1/4 cup Chicken Broth
 
Preparation:

1. Preheat oven to 400 F.

2. Pour chicken broth in small shallow bowl.

3. In medium mixing bowl or shallow casserole dish, combine corn flakes, black pepper, red pepper, and garlic powder.

4. Dip chicken into broth. Dredge chicken in breading mixture.

5. Place chicken on non-stick cookie sheet.

6. Bake 20-25 minutes or until chicken breasts are golden brown.

Substitute your favorite, crushed non-sugary cereal in place of corn flakes. Crushed crackers and potato chips also work well in this recipe.
