Italian Chicken Sticks

Boneless, skinless chicken pieces are coated in melted butter and dredged in an herb seasoned bread crumb mixture. Baked golden brown and served with dipping sauce.

Ingredients -
1 cup Seasoned Bread Crumbs
1/2 cup Freshly Grated Parmesan Cheese
1-1/2 teaspoon Dried Thyme
1-1/2 teaspoon Dried Basil
1 teaspoon Dried Oregano
1/2 teaspoon Coarse Salt
1/4 teaspoon Garlic Powder
Pinch of Ground Red Pepper
8 Boneless, Chicken Breast Halves, cut into ½-inch strips
¼ cup Unsalted Butter, melted
Marinara Sauce or Honey Mustard for dipping
 
Preparation:

1. Preheat the oven to 400 F.

2. Add seasoned bread crumbs, grated Parmesan cheese, dried thyme, dried basil, dried oregano, coarse salt, garlic powder, and ground red pepper.

3. Coat chicken strips in melted butter.

4. Coat chicken strips in bread crumb mixture.

5. Spray baking sheet with non-stick cooking spray.

6. Place chicken strips on baking sheet.

7. Bake 20 minutes, or until chicken is cooked through, and juices run clear.

To Serve:
1. Remove chicken strips to serving platter.

2. Serve with dipping sauces.

Frozen Chicken
Never cook frozen chicken, especially whole chickens. Thaw in the refrigerator overnight in a sealed bag or on a plate or baking dish.

Buying Chicken
