Garlic Cloves

Garlic, known throughout the world for its natural medicinal qualities adds delicious flavor to both raw and cooked dishes. Garlic heads and cloves can be used in raw form or roasted before adding to recipes. Fresh American garlic produced mainly in northern California is available year-round, can be found in most supermarkets, and is generally very inexpensive.

Chicken Breast Recipe Tip
Salmonella Bacteria

Salmonella bacteria are present in fresh chicken. The bacteria are killed when chicken is cooked, but can contaminate work areas, utensils, cutting boards, hands, etc. To avoid possible cross contamination of other foods, keep raw chicken and its juices away from other foods at all times. Careful handling will ensure safety.
