Chicken in Carbonara Sauce

Boneless, skinless chicken breasts are sautéed until cooked through. Chicken is served with sauce prepared from crisp bacon, garlic powder, fresh ground black pepper, white sauce, fresh grated parmesan cheese, sugar and milk.

Ingredients -

4 Boneless, Skinless Chicken Breasts
8 Bacon Slices
1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
1/2 teaspoon Pepper
1 recipe White Sauce or 1 package White Sauce Mix
1/2 cup Parmesan Cheese
1 teaspoon Sugar
1 cup Milk

 
Preparation:

1. Cut the breasts in half lengthwise.

2. Cook, crisp and crumble the bacon. Set bacon aside.

3. Add the chicken breasts to the pan and sauté in the bacon grease until done.

4. In a small bowl add the white sauce, parmesan cheese, sugar and milk and whisk well.

5. Add to the pan with the chicken and heat through. Return bacon to skillet.
