Crockpot Chicken And Potatoes

Chicken breasts, potatoes, and carrots, seasoned and slow cooked until tender.

Ingredients -
6 Medium New Potatoes, unpeeled, washed and cubed
6 Medium Carrots, tops removed and peeled
5 Boneless, Skinless, Chicken Breast Halves, cut into ½-inch pieces
1 tablespoon Dried Parsley Flakes
1 teaspoon Seasoned Salt
1/2 teaspoon White Pepper
1 (10 ounces) can Golden Mushroom Soup
1 (10 ounces) can Cream of Chicken Soup
4 tablespoons Dried Mashed Potato Flakes
Water or Milk
 
Preparation:

1. Arrange potatoes and carrots in crokpot. Top with chicken pieces.

2. Season chicken pieces with dried parsley flakes, seasoned salt, and white pepper.

3. Add golden mushroom soup, cram of chicken soup to small bowl. Stir to combine.

4. Spread soup over chicken.

5. Cover and cook on LOW 7 hours.

6. Stir in potato flakes. Cook additional 30 minutes. Add a little water if necessary.

Cooking Chicken
Check internal temperatures, check for juices that run clear, but also check the flesh color. Pink means the chicken is raw and needs additional cooking time.

Microwaving Chicken
Microwaves vary greatly in their performance. Chickens should be microwaved a minimum of 8 minutes per pound of chicken on HIGH setting. Remove chicken and allow it to rest 5 minutes before slicing.
