Oregano Chicken

Easy boneless chicken breast recipe. Chicken breasts slow cooked with fresh lemon juice and Italian sytle salad dressing mix. Garnished with fresh chopped oregano.

Ingredients -
1/2 cup (1 stick) Unsalted Butter, melted
1 (1.3 ounces) Envelope Dry Italian Salad Dressing Mix
1 tablespoon Fresh Lemon Juice
5 Boneless, Skinless Chicken Breasts
2 tablespoons Dried Oregano
 
Preparation:

1. Add unsalted butter, dry Italian salad dressing mix, fresh lemon juice to medium bowl. Stir with wooden spoon to combine.

2. Spray crockpot with non-stick cooking spray.

3. Arrange chicken breasts in bottom of crockpot.

4. Spoon butter mixture into crockpot.

5. Cover and cook on LOW 5 hours.

6. Sprinkle dried oregano over chicken and cook additional hour.

Buying Frozen Chicken
Keep frozen chicken at zero degrees F., double wrapped in freezer proof bags, if possible. Freeze chicken up to one year, preferably less for better results.
