Shopping for Chicken

Chicken breasts should be picked up last when grocery shopping. The chicken should be transported as quickly as possible to avoid exposing the chicken to unsafe temperatures for as short a time is possible. Store chicken safely for up to 48-72 hours in the coldest section of the refrigerator.
